Tetsuo Sakurai - Brasil Connection

Enthrawled since a young age with the music of Brazil, legendary jazz bassist Tetsuo Sakurai has finally gotten the chance to work with his idol and Djavan guitarist Filo Machado on a series of releases from his new project Brasil Connection.

Japanese jazz fans should already know Sakurai by his defining work with legendary act Casiopea. Working with yet another legendary jazz act known as Jimsaku through the nineties, Tetsuo Sakurai embarked in a more solo direction, leading him to meet Machado during one of his recording sessions. This time around his band features Sakurai, Machado, Dimensions member Akira Onozuka, and legendary Brazillian drummer Sergio Machado.
