Shuurei Kou is the daughter of a noble family that lives in terrible poverty. One day a man from the Imperial Court visits her to ask her to become a tutor of the newly crowned king Ryuki Shi. Shuurei accepts the invitation for the high reward in order to help her family. However, in order to hide her from the eyes of the other aristocrats, she is forced to become a part of his harem. Believing the rumor that the king is homosexual, Shuurei goes to Imperial Court.

"Saiunnkoku Monogatati Vol.1" includes three episodes. Limited edition comes with a mini drama CD, voice artists' interview and more. While the "First Press Available" button appears on the screen, the set (only limited dition) includes a trading card.
