The story of Rurouni Kenshin (= Samurai X) is about a famous assassin, Himura Kenshin, who is known as "Battousai" during the last days of the Tokugawa Shogunate. Later, he regrets his past of killing, and swears that he will never kill anyone again and decides to live his life saving people along with his friends Yahiko and Sanosuke.

The set includes all 94 episodes of the TV series, one special episode, both OVAs, and the official theatrical feature.

This special package also features a specially designed paulownia wood box, special features DVD, and specially-made remix CD for a total of 22 DVDs and CDs. The box also includes a deluxe booklet, anime illustration collection, and reverse-blade sakabato-design letter-opener (details subject to change).
