Miki Furukawa Goes Solo

Preorder the new album from Miki Furukawa, the former vocalist and bassist for legendary Japanese band Supercar.

In February, 2005 Furukawa put an end to the band she started in order to pursue a wider variety of music than was available at the time. Her new project sees the artist moving in a more ambient, more electronic direction. With the addition of more programming comes an increase in more dance oriented beats. However, you can still hear that distinctive voice.

Miki Furukawa's still untitled debut album comes out July 19. The lead-in single "Coffee & SingingGirl!!!" comes June 21 and features the main track, B-side "Summer," and remixes from Broadcast and Moodman.
