Yogisha Shinji Muroi

Following up on last year's release of "Koshonin Masayoshi Mashita," "Yogisha Muroi Shinji" is the new film from Japan's blockbuster film and TV series "The Bayside Shakedown" ("Odoru Daisosasen").

This time around, Toshiro Yanagiba stars as assistant police superintendant Shinji Muroi. Once the epitome of the straight cop, Muroi is disgraced when the family of a suspect accuses him of abuse. Facing jail time, "the suspect" (from which the film gets its title) calls in long-time friend Keiichi Kudo (played by Japanese film staple Sho Aikawa) to investigate the truth behind the accusation.

"Yogisha Muroi Shinji" comes in two varieties which both include English subtitles. Pick up the standard edition of the film to receive only the main feature, or the limited edition with two bonus special features DVDs and a replica screenplay!
