Yokubo w/English Subtitles

Director Tetsuo Shinohara ("Tengoku no Honya" "The Necessity of Deep Breathing") returns with the new film "Yokubo (Desire)" based off of the award-winning novel by Mariko Koike. Fall into a world of high school angst and dumb lust when "Yokubo" comes out June 23 with English subtitles.

Ruiko loves Masami, but Masami loves her friend Asao. As Ruiko fights back the urge to make her love known to Masami, their years in junior high quickly slip by. Fast-forward several years later and a more confident Ruiko runs into a rather unfortunate Masami. Now Ruiko can express her feelings physically, and it's Masami who has injured his libido in a car accident.
