deadman - in the direction of sunrise and night light

Deadman's new album "in the direction of sunrise and night light" will be coming out December 14, so we figured this would be an excellent opportunity to introduce one of Japan's up-and-coming bands!

While deadman's looks are deceptively visual kei, their musical style is firmly grounded in indie rock. Frontman Mako sports a vocal range on par with Morrisey (though slightly deeper) while guitarist aie's leads are more reminiscent of ambient rock favorites like Castor than the metal influenced riffs and solos that define much of visual kei (though visual is hard to describe as a whole).
