Blu-ray and DVD release from legendary cyber punk/SF anime and manga created by Masamune Shirow! OVA anime series was directed by Kazuchika Kise ("XxxHOLiC"), music composed by Cornelius, and main character Motoko Kusanagi performed by Maaya Sakamoto ("Escaflowne".) Includes first OVA and special booklet.
Story is a prequel of "Ghost in the Shell" taking place in A.D.2027 and featuring cyborg Motoko Kusanagi from the secret unit 501.
