Miyazaki masterpiece Laputa The Castle in The Sky in Blu-Ray!

After Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind in Blu-Ray format, the first real Ghibli anime "Laputa The Castle in the Sky" is now available on preorder! Director Miyazaki Hayao got inspiration from the Gulliver's Travels. For the robots, they came directly from the French classic masterpiece "Le Roi et l'Oiseau" (The King and the Mockingbird) , a reference for all a generation of Japanese directors and animators. Music compositor still Hisaishi Joe and producer Suzuki Toshio.

Plot: Pazu, a young boy stumbles into a mysterious girl who floats down from the sky. The girl, Sheeta, was chased by pirates, army and government secret agent Muska. In saving her life, they begin a high flying adventure that goes through all sorts of flying machine, eventually searching for Sheeta's identity in a floating castle of a lost civilization, the legendary Laputa island...

As in Nausicaa Blu-Ray, The Castle in the Sky includes picture disc but especially many dubbed foreign languages and subtitles! English, French, German, Chinese, Mandarin and Korean languages are included with also storyboard, script for dubbing, textless intro & outro, theatrical trailer, TV spots, and more.
At the same release date, another Ghibli anime by Takahada Isao "My Neighbors the Yamadas" will also be available in Blu-Ray!
