Highschool of the Dead, the new Madhouse Anime !

First Blu-ray release from anime series "Highschool of the Dead" from the sexy manga of Sato Daisuke, animated by studio Madhouse (Ninja Scroll, Claymore, Black Lagoon) and directed by Tetsuro Araki (Death Note)!

Plot: The world is over taken with a mysterious and deadly disease that turns humans into zombies. A high school student Takashi Komuro rescues his childhood friend Rei Miyamoto from the confusion. But he was forced to kill her boyfriend Hisashi after he was bitten and had turned into a zombie. Is it possible for them to survive?

Features episodes 1&2 and first press includes also a sleeve artwork by Shoji Sato and booklet with short novel by Daisuke Sato.
