Plot: The story centers on Musashi Miyamoto, one of the most famous swordsmen during the early Edo period. He pioneered a sword-fighting style named Nitenichiryu and wrote "The Book of Five Rings (Gorin no Sho)," which depicts his life, his sword-fighting style, and its practice. The film is documentary animation about Musashi Miyamoto who respected Shinto and Buddhist deities, but on the other hand, killed even children to win battles based on "The Book of Five Rings."
