Pianist Itoko Toma releases a solo piano album recorded in the summer of 2023 at the studio library "SALO" in Oiso, Kanagawa. Guided by the carefully tuned upright piano adjusted by a piano technician, this collection of pieces is woven freely through natural finger movement. Inspired by an exhibition by art director Shin Kikuchi of [Schole Records] held at SALO during the recording period, the work evokes imagery of walking along a misty mountain path, imagining unseen scenery and immersing oneself in quietness. The softened piano tones, enhanced with felt preparation, create a serene soundscape reminiscent of petals or fresh snow gently falling. ピアニスト・当真伊都子がソロピアノアルバムをリリース。2023年夏、神奈川の大磯にあるスタジオ・ライブラリー"SALO"にて録音された本作は、調律師により緻密に調整されたアップライトピアノの音色に導かれ、指の赴くままに紡がれた作品集。レコーディング期間中"SALO"にて開催されていた＜Schole Records＞のアートディレクター菊地慎の作品展からインスパイアを受けた楽曲が集まって構成されている本作は、霧が立ちこめる山奥の散歩道を歩きながら、見えない景色を想像しながら静けさに身を委ねていく、そんなイメージを纏った作品になった。また、フェルトで細工が施されたことにより更にソフトになったピアノの音は、そっと花びらや新雪が舞い積もるような、そんな静謐な音景色を広げることだろう。あかりを灯すように、香を楽しむように、くつろぎのひとときのお供にぜひお楽しみあれ。紙ジャケット仕様。
