Yasushi Tomoda, making his directorial debut with this work, has been chosen as director. Series composition and scripts are by Jukki Hanada, who has handled series composition and scripts for numerous hits such as "Medalist," "Sound! Euphonium," and the "Love Live!" series, while character design is by Kyoko Yufu, who handled character design for "Delicious Party Precure" and "Seirei Gensouki: Spirit Chronicles." Animation production is handled by ROLL2, the studio behind "Love Is Indivisible by Twins." Sheena Totsuki, a 14-year-old girl who longs for peaceful days, is voiced by Rie Takahashi, who played Emilia in "Re:ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-," and Mimi Kagari, a mysterious girl who suddenly appears before Sheena one day, is voiced by Rina Hidaka, who played Milim in "That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime." Joining them, Sheena's classmate Lizzy Seiran is played by Asami Seto, who voices Nobara Kugisaki in "Jujutsu Kaisen," and Ali Maud by Yui Ishikawa, who voices Mikasa Ackerman in "Attack on Titan." These accomplished voice actors give passionate performances as girls living a daily life that walks side by side with death. -- Girls attend a school that raises children with no family as weapons for war. Lessons on how to kill, and an unreasonable daily life in which they can barely even grieve when someone dies. Here, these absurd days lived side by side with death are simply the "norm."
