Volume 4 is now available on DVD. The original story began serialization in April 2018 and has gained popularity for its unique setting of a main character with amnesia, fascinating characters, depiction of the realistic aspects of high school baseball, and perfect balance of gag and serious elements. The series is directed by first-time director Masato Nakazono, who also directed "Jujutsu Kaisen" and "Chainsaw Man". The series is composed by Michiko Yokote, who has worked on numerous works, and the character design is by Hitomi Hasegawa of "Dance Dance Dance Danceur" fame. MAPPA, the animation production company responsible for "Jutsu Kaisen" and "The Final Season", will be in charge of the animation production. In addition, popular voice actors of the moment will play the characters with strong personalities! Toshiki Masuda will play the role of Kiyomine Hayarubi, a perfect pitcher who was famous in the junior high school baseball world. Mamoru Miyano is cast as Kei Kaname, a catcher who was once known as a "master of the game" but is now an amateur baseball player due to amnesia. Yohei Azaue plays the role of Aoi Todo, a strong-shouldered slugger with a dynamic batting style. Nobunaga Shimazaki plays the role of Shunpei Chihaya, the second baseman who is a base hog with his skillful bat control and quick feet! Yuki Kaji as Taro Yamada, a gentle and kind character who is trusted by his teammates and is the most sensible person in the club. Shosei Yamatani plays the role of Kazuki Tsuchiya, a middle infielder who is physically weak and timid, but has good agility. Also, rivals from other schools will be played by Takao Otsuka, Mark Ishii, Kengo Kawanishi, and others! --The monster battery of Kiyomine Hayarubi, a perfect pitcher who has made a name for himself in the junior high school baseball world, and Kaname Kei, a sharp catcher and "Tomo" (a wise man).
