DROP That [w/ DVD, Limited Edition / Type B]

This EP consists of 4 songs with different charms. First track, FANFARE, is a great opening with hard rock tune. Though it's an opening song, I think it's nice to play this song during the closing of a ceremony or a festival since this song is a firework. Second track, Let's Escape, is an easy-listening song. One of the member, Kyosuke Fujimaki, is co-writing the lyrics. It's a nice song to listen to when you want to "escape" for a while from a boring routine. Third track, INItialize, is a cool pop song with a bit of hip-hop twist in the middle. I love the beat and the note progression in this song. Last track, DROP, is a really cool song in my opinion. Listening to this song is like riding a roller coaster. One of the member, Hiroto Nishi, is writing the lyrics of this song. This song heavily contains of rap, but the melodic part is really showcasing the vocal range of the main vocalists. PhotoINIsm #2 which is included in the bonus DVD is a really interesting project. It shows not only how the members are getting along so well with each other, but also shows another creative side of them which hasn't been shown in their previous projects. Overall, this EP really shows how INI has grown and ready to start their new chapter with a blast.
