Chausson

A new release of valuable previously unreleased recordings by the leading contemporary violinist Renaud Capucon, who was active on the Warner Classics / Erato label and left many recording projects, and later moved to the Deutsche Grammophon label. This Paris scented album combines two works by Chausson, one of the representative composers of the late 19th century Paris classical music scene, the signature masterpiece "Poeme (Poem)" and the "Concert for Violin, Piano and String Quartet". The "Concert for Violin, Piano and String Quartet" was recorded in June 2020, and the collaborating pianist Nicholas Angelich, who was expected to grow into a master pianist, passed away due to illness on April 18, 2022, leaving this as a valuable recording from his lifetime. The worldwide release in April 2026 is planned as a memory of him. For the string quartet, the Quatuor Ebene, highly acclaimed in Japan as one of the finest quartets today, participates. "Poeme (Poem)" is a famous work and popular piece that notable violinists always take on, and together with the "Concert for Violin, Piano and String Quartet", this release adds Renaud Capucon's fine performances to the lineage of the essence of French violin music. ワーナークラシックス/エラート・レーベルで活躍、多くの録音プロジェクトを残し、その後はグラモフォン・レーベルに移籍した、現代を代表するヴァイオリニスト、ルノー・カピュソンの貴重な未発表音源の新譜発売。得意とするフランス音楽、19世紀末のパリのクラシック楽壇を代表する作曲家の一人、ショーソンの代表的名曲「詩曲 (Poem)」と、「ヴァイオリン、ピアノと弦楽四重奏のためのコンセール」の2作品を組み合わせたフランス、パリの香り立つアルバム。「ヴァイオリン、ピアノと弦楽四重奏のためのコンセール」は、2020年6月に収録されており、共演ピアニストの二コラ・アンゲリッシュは、巨匠ピアニストへの大成を嘱望されながら2022年4月18日に惜しまれつつ病没しており、生前の貴重な録音として残されたもの。2026年4月の世界発売はそのメモリーとして企画されている。弦楽四重奏は、現代最高の四重奏団の一つとして日本でも高い評価を持つエベーヌ四重奏団が参加。「詩曲 (Poem)」は名ヴァイオリニストが必ず手掛ける名作、人気曲で、「・・・コンセール」と合わせフランスのヴァイオリン音楽の精華の系列にルノー・カピュソンに名演奏が加わる発売。録音: 2020年6月27日、パリ、シンガー=ポリニャック財団 (1～4)、2018年11月 (5)
