I agree with reviewer Ed M. , this is a great Alice album , no filler....you have to listen to the whole album, it's a joy! Mini LP replica is great , glad i picked this one up....SHM-CD sound is fantastic! Grab it , it's a great Alice album and a great release!

i would have to say welcome to my nightmare is my third favorite cooper record, it also contains one of my favorite cooper songs THE BLACK WIDOW!! maybe becouse i remember hearing this album around 1975 or 76 when i was a kid in school, a relitave of mine played me this album when i was 8 or 9 years old and this was brand new so that song always sticks out to me, this year alice did welcome to my nightmare #2 but there is no way he can do as good as this record was done, i also say that for the others i have reviewed here, this sadley was at a time the band was about to split up and alice was going to go solo, they really left there impact and it shows on this album, as with the rest this has the shm mastering and the packaging is so amazing!!!!! it totally replicates the original 1975 release of this classic and its never sounded better, enjoy!!!!
Once again , even though this remastered in 2011 / SHM-CD is from ATLANTIC Japan. This was a ALICE COOPER , solo album. It sounds just as excellent as the other older ALICE COOPER Group's remasters , released in , 2011 / 2012. I like to listen to my regular CDs in 4 speaker extended stereo on my full stereo or on the 4 speakers in my car. This CD is much better balanced and a little lower in volume than the RHINO version , however , it is certainly louder / clearer than anything that STEVE HOFFMAN , would do. Not only do you hear more detail from the horns , violins , bass and keyboards , ect...The vocals and spoken words parts are very , very clear. VINCENT PRICE , sounds sooooo much better and the later line in the song " Years Ago " , " now , I am a great BIG MAN " will knock you out of your chair. I can't imagine any version of this CD being any better than this. Unless these CDs come out in 5.1. I am glad that I never have to buy this excellent sounding regular CD again. The packaging is not as great as the other older albums before this one. You just get a single CD sleeve with the lyrics inside but no other goodies. Thankfully , I don't buy CDs for their packaging. THANK YOU ALICE and Co. for releasing such great looking and excellent sounding remasters. We fans have been waiting many years for these!!!
