Beautiful Mini LP replica of the original album , excellent quality from Japan as usual. As for the sound of the 2001 remaster , it's decent.....but definitly not SHM-CD. These Van Halen albums deserve the SHM-Cd treatment....there's a lot of fans out there who would buy it (including me). C'mon CDJapan work your magic and get Warner Music to ok a SHM-Cd release!!

These Van Halen Roth era mini LPs are excellent.. identical packaging to original records released including inner sleeves, inserts and Warner Bros label on the CD. I gave this only 4 stars simply because it is NOT a SHM version.. the audio uses the 2001 remastering. I bought them anyway since I am a VH nerd ;) Please WARNER JAPAN reissue Van Halen Roth era CDs on SHM with card board sleeve mini Lps (like the Alice Cooper ones which are excellent)!!!
GREAT FOLLOW UP IN 1979, THIS WAS THE ALBUM THAT REALLY SHOWED PEOPLE WHO EVH WAS AND THAT VAN HALEN WHERE THE NEXT BIG THING!!!!!!!!!!! THEY WHERE ON FIRE AT THIS POINT!!!!!!!!
