Description
Katsuhiro Otomo, one of Japan's most renowned creators, serves as executive producer and general director for the theatrical feature-length animated film "MEMORIES," whose original motion picture soundtrack is reissued with a new product number. Originally released in 1995, this omnibus-style animated film is based on three of Otomo's short comics and consists of "Magnetic Rose" directed by Koji Morimoto, "Stink Bomb" directed by Tensai Okamura, and "Cannon Fodder" directed by Katsuhiro Otomo. Each segment features music by a different composer: Yoko Kanno for "Magnetic Rose," Jun Miyake for "Stink Bomb," and Hiroyuki Nagashima for "Cannon Fodder." The opening theme "PROLOGUE" and ending theme "IN YER MEMORY," composed by Takkyu Ishino of Denki Groove, are also included. Reissued as an affordable regular edition, updated from the previous 12cm CD + 8cm CD two-disc set to a two-disc 12cm CD format.
