In the English Canterbury rock scene, which enjoys immense popularity as another story of progressive rock, the band "Hatfield and the North", which stood out with its unique style, finally releases the official live album recorded during their first visit to Japan in 2005, 33 years after formation, after 20 years since recording. Limited to 500 sets. The legendary first Japan performance of Hatfield and the North, held on October 1 and 2, 2005 at Kawasaki CLUB CITTA', was officially recorded as part of the "Live Recording Session Series", but due to various circumstances it was shelved without being released on CD. Only eight months after that concert, drummer "Pip Pyle" suddenly passed away, and "Phil Miller" also died in 2017, leaving "Richard Sinclair" as the only original member. From DAT tapes unearthed by Richard, the long awaited official CD release of their first Japan performance is finally realized. The album features the genuine rare sound source full of improvisational exchanges and the warm vocals of Richard Sinclair that characterize Hatfield and the North. Box set specification: 2 sets of E type paper jacket CD (2 discs each, total 4 discs) titled "The Rotters' Live Vol.1" and "The Rotters' Live Vol.2", three sided box specification, color booklet reproducing the concert pamphlet in reduced size, bonus CD including unreleased tracks, and liner notes.
