Baokuon Yumehanabi

The Back Horn is better than I had expected. A little bald on the music, though complex, and their visuals are none, but it's a good band and a good gig. They begin playing in daylight and gradually it gets darker. First all lights are bright white ones, which makes some of the footage unclear or showing only silhouettes. It isn't until the end that the stage lights come into play. That's the downside of a daytime out-in-the-park concert, I guess. =/ Secondly, the singer has a unique voice. I wish he wouldn't scream so much. This doesn't always unpack ideally. Sometimes it sounds fitting, other times it sounds a little off. Other than those two little things, this is a good concert, 101 minutes long, for a more than decent price.

This is a pretty great concert, my only complaint being that I wished they had waited to film this until after Headphone Children came out; I would have LOVED to see songs from it on here. Otherwise, the set list is pretty good, starting off with Requiem... amazing. And even though it's in an open-air ampitheatre, they still manage to give a great show. Also, they start playing during the day and end up rocking into the night, it makes you feel like you've been spending too much time in your house watching it, haha.
