スターダストプロモーション所属、EBiDAN発の6人組ボーイズグループLienelが待望のメジャーデビューシングルをリリース。表題曲「メロ・コレクション」は、M!LK「イイじゃん」やAiScReam「愛 スクリ～ム!」などを手がけたHayato Yamamotoが作詞・作曲・編曲を担当 (作詞はTomoki Tamataniと共作)。「メロい」と思われたいのに気持ちが空回りしてしまう―そんな不器用で等身大の恋心を描いたポップソングとなっている。CDには表題曲「メロ・コレクション」に加え、新曲2曲を収録。商品形態は、初回限定盤 (CD+Blu-ray)、通常盤、さらに初回限定メンバーソロ盤 (全6種)を展開。初回限定盤のBlu-rayには、スタッフが置き忘れた"メジャーデビュー契約書"を探し、メンバー全員でシンガポールを巡るアドベンチャー企画を約20分収録。旅を通して見えるメンバーの素顔やチームワークも楽しめる内容となっている。スリーブケース仕様。ブックレット (8P)付。
