2022年9月に結成20周年を迎える兄弟ピアノデュオ"レ・フレール"。20年という時の中で1台のピアノと向き合い、"キャトルマンスタイル (フランス語で4本の手を意味する)"を追求し続けてきた、彼ら6枚目となるオリジナルアルバム『Timeless』には、書き下ろしの新作計13曲を収録予定。今作では、レ・フレールだからこその様々な試みも行われ、そのひとつとして"キャトルマンスタイル"の特徴的な表現方法である"ミュート奏法"を積極的に取り入れている。アルバムタイトルでもある「Timeless～時～」では、"時"を刻む秒針を鍵盤で表現。「NBAYEH」では全編をミュート奏法で演奏することで、異国情緒溢れる楽曲に仕上げている。そのほかに、初の試みとしてピアノ椅子を打楽器のように奏で、ピアノサウンドと融合させた「Cobrette」など、時を重ねた二人の魅力が最大限に生かされた楽曲が並ぶ。そして、アルバム最後を締めくくるのは、背中を押してくれるような華やかなメロディラインが印象的な「Victory」。約6分間の大作に仕上がっている。
