Description

[Machine Translation] New album by The Sixteen, highly acclaimed for its repertoire of ancient and religious music. The Sixteen, founded in 1977 in England, is a 16-member choir. Conductor Harry Christopher ( 1953- ) founded and directs the choir. In its early years, the choir focused on polyphonic music from England and the Iberian Peninsula, but it has since grown to have its own independent ensemble orchestra and performs Handel and other choral music as well. The current work is composed mainly of works dedicated to the Virgin Mary by composers of various periods. A beautiful world woven by the voices unfolds.
