[DG120周年記念 第1弾ドイツ・グラモフォン定盤 premium] 2004年秋、ミュンヘン・フィルの音楽総監督に就任したティーレマンの就任披露演奏会のライヴ・レコーディング。ミュンヘンとブルックナーの結びつきは深く、自作が聴衆に受け入れられたことで彼自身がミュンヘンを愛していたことはもちろん、ミュンヘン・フィルも創立直後の時代に当時の印刷譜に基づいて全曲演奏をするなどたびたび取り上げてきた。1935年には第5番の原典版が初演され、また1985年には本拠ガスタイク内のフィルハーモニーの柿落しでチェリビダッケによって第5番が演奏された。ブルックナー演奏の伝統を継承した渾身の一枚。グリーン・カラー・レーベルコート。ルビジウム・クロック・カッティング。 [演奏] ミュンヘン・フィルハーモニー管弦楽団、指揮: クリスティアン・ティーレマン 録音: 2004年10月 ミュンヘン
