[Machine Translation] [Encore Press: The Art of Sviatoslav Richter] Encore Press of the series commemorating the 100th anniversary of the birth of Richter ( 1915.3.20-1997.8.1 ), the greatest pianist of the 20th century, selected from a vast number of sources from DG and DECCA ( including former Philips sources ). Selected from a vast amount of sound sources in DG and DECCA (including former Philips sources). This is a limited release at a special price. Richter ( 1915.3.20-1997.8.1 ) was known as the greatest pianist of the 20th century. Richter, known as an extreme perfectionist, overwhelmed listeners with his exceptionally concentrated, tense, and supremely polished playing, and this is his Bach performance after many years. Richter's performance of Bach's music, in which the richly varied musical ideas are clearly delineated with the versatile timbre of a modern piano, is accompanied by the surprising liveliness that only a live performance can bring, and the songs of Bach's music, in which the majestic and the compassionate coexist, are expressed with unbounded sympathy. Recordings: March 1991 Rolandseck ( 1-3 ), November 1991 Neumarkt ( 4-6 ) (live)
