Description

[Machine Translation] Matthew Taylor's music combines "modern compositional language with traditional forms" and appeals strongly to the listener. The music draws on the classical tradition from Beethoven and Haydn, with a hint of Sibelius and Nielsen, to create a sound in a contemporary guise. The wind ensemble draws inspiration from the works of Nielsen and the next generation of composers, Hornborg, and the result is a unique work that combines symphonic sounds with raucousness and humor.
Note: This is an import edition (manufactured outside of Japan).
