Description

[Machine Translation] The Tafelmusik Baroque Orchestra, based in Toronto, Canada, was founded in 1979, and Jean Lamont has served as its music director and concertmaster since 1981. The orchestra has collaborated for many years with conductor Bruno Weill, who specializes in Baroque and Classical music, and has been highly acclaimed for his "clear sound and music that flows naturally without effort" on numerous recordings. Weill and the Tafelmusik Orchestra have previously released only Beethoven Nos. 1-4 (2-CD set) and No. 9, but this box contains the complete Beethoven cycle recorded from 2004 to 2016. The vibrant expression and airy sound are fundamental to the modern period approach to performance, but also full of fresh surprises.
Note: This is an import edition (manufactured outside of Japan).
