DVD第1巻。――中学生の少年・蒼月潮は、寺の住職をつとめる父親と二人暮らし。ある日、彼は自宅にある蔵の地下室でとんでもないものと出会ってしまう。それははるか昔、凶悪なバケモノとして民に恐れられ、「獣の槍」によって五百年間も封じ込められていた大妖怪であった!槍を引き抜いてしまった潮はあわや妖怪に食われかかるが、同時に眠りから目覚めた「獣の槍」の力によって変身し、妖気に群がってきた他の妖怪たちをあっという間に撃破する。槍の威力を恐れて思わず協力してしまった大妖怪は、潮に「とら」と名付けられ、行動を共にすることに。かくして「獣の槍」の伝承者となってしまった少年と、いつか彼を食ってやろうとつけ狙う大妖怪の"うしとら"コンビが誕生したのだった。そして襲いくる妖怪どもを次々と蹴散らしていく彼らは世界の存亡をかけた壮大な戦いに巻き込まれていく・・・。第1話～第3話収録。アニメ描き下ろしキャラクターピクチャーレーベル仕様。
