There are many strange things that can lead to friendship, so why not boxing ... Well, watching the same breath is guaranteed. And not just fans of Yamashita. The film lacks the beautiful, dynamic staff that would be interested in and just the person seeking that would look new and nice to spend a couple hours in the evening. Although boxing is in the film leading role (just for Yamashita *laugh*) and you're always cheering, and jumping on the couch, looking as if the present confrontation between the real boxers. But the main emotion you get in the end, with the last frame to the last gesture of Rikishi and Joe grinned. When it comes to understanding that blows in the ring it's not a fight. It's like a dialogue in their own language in their own world for two. Then you spread out on the couch with a sense of understanding and complete satisfaction that the two hours you've spent your life for a reason.

The live action film based on the legendary boxing manga "Tomorrow's Joe (Ashita no Joe)" comes out on DVD! Stars Tomohisa Yamashita (NEWS), Yusuke Iseya, and Karina. Directed by Fumihiko Sori of "Ping Pong." Premium edition includes a bonus DVD with making-of, event footage, talk by casts, interviews, and more. Also includes a booklet. Plot: Set in the 1960's, Joe Yabuki lives in a savage low-income ara. One day, alcholic ex-boxer Danpei Tange notices Joe Yabuki's talents as a boxer and tries to train him to be a professional boxer. However, Joe is later arrested and goes to a youth detention center. There, Joe meets his future rival Rikiishi, who is a champion caliber professional boxer, and is completely knocked out. After getting out of the center, he gets special training from Danpei Tange and becomes an elite boxer and famous for a devastating cross counter. On the other hand, Rikiishi finally gets his shot at the world championship belt, but before that, he wants a match with Joe. The two boxers enter the ring. . .
