Description

[Machine Translation] This is a reissue of the best-selling "Bloch: Concerto Works". Born in Switzerland of Jewish descent, Bloch came to the United States after the war under the name "Ernest Bloch." He introduced neoclassical music to the United States and left many ethnically rich works based on Jewish liturgical music. This album contains works for piano and orchestra, including "Concerto No. 1," a representative neoclassical work, and allows the listener to enjoy the variety of Bloch's style. The piano is played by Taiwanese-born American virtuoso Jenny Lin. Her brilliant tone explodes from the beginning of "Symphonic Concerto" and captivates the audience. [Performed by] Jenny Lin (piano), Ilzh Sterlek (conductor), German Radio Philharmonic Orchestra Saarbrucken-Kaiserslautern
Note: This is an import edition (manufactured outside of Japan).
