[Machine Translation] Hans Rothbout ( 1985-1962 ) was an Austrian conductor with a keen eye for contemporary music who strongly influenced the future Pierre Boulez. After serving as the principal conductor of the newly established Frankfurt Radio Symphony Orchestra in 1929, he became the music director of the Southwest German Radio Symphony Orchestra in 1948. He dedicated his life to the orchestra for 14 years until 1962. This Wagner is known for Rothbout's passionate performance, which is different from his approach to contemporary music. Recorded between 1955 and 1959, the original tapes have been meticulously remastered for SWR's signature sound.

オーストリア出身の指揮者ハンス・ロスバウト(1985-1962)。後のピエール・ブーレーズに強い影響を与えたという現代音楽に慧眼を持つ指揮者でした。1929年に新設されたフランクフルト放送交響楽団の首席指揮者を務めた後、1948年に南西ドイツ放送交響楽団の音楽監督に就任。1962年までの14年間、その生涯をオーケストラのために捧げました。このワーグナーは、現代音楽へのアプローチとは一味違う、ロスバウトの熱のこもった演奏として知られています。オリジナル・テープを用い、入念にリマスターが施されたSWR自慢の音色をご堪能ください。1955年~1959年録音。
