Description

Features 8 discs with every episodes of the series, one bonus disc, deluxe 132-page booklet introducing the characters and world (subject to change), and deluxe super-jewel case box. Character design by "Dragon Quest" and "Dragon Ball" artist Akira Toriyama. An evil lord's pursuit of eternal life leads him to the humble town of Aliahan where he abducts a young girl. A young resident named Abel and his friend Mokomoko pursue the lord leading them on a journey all over the world. Can they defeat the evil lord and bring peace back to the world?

1989年12月から1991年4月まで、フジテレビ系にて放映していたアニメ「ドラゴンクエスト」全42話(1～8巻+特典ディスク1巻)を収録。キャラクター原案はドラゴンクエストシリーズのゲーム作品や、ドラゴンボール等でお馴染みの鳥山明。エスタークの人の怨念が生んだ、とてつもない邪悪な闇の帝王"大魔王バラモス"。バラモスは世界制覇を企み、永遠の命を得るために「竜伝説」を追って平和な村アリアハンへ。そして竜伝説・赤き珠の継承者少女ティアラを連れ去ってしまった。もう一人の竜伝説の継承者アベルは、親友モコモコとともに連れ去られたティアラをバラモスから助け出し、世界を救うため平和な村アリアハンを旅立った。はたしてアベルは真の勇者となり、ティアラと地球の平和の為バラモスを倒すことができるのか――ここに勇者アベルの大冒険が始まる。アニメ設定集(132ページ予定)、1～4話ダイジェスト版、初回のみに放送された貴重な第一部最終話と第二部第1話、オリジナル総集編、オリジナル名場面集が収められた特典ディスク付き! スーパージュエルケース仕様BOX。
