Description

[Machine Translation] The album was released in 1981 on the Zwickzack label and sold 20,000 copies. It is known as an anthem that embodied the German music scene of the 1980s, which combined sequencer beats and metal blows and referred to the social hierarchy. In 1989, "True Labor, True Reward" was remade as "The Machineries of Joy" with the support of Nitzer Ebb in the U.K., and became a source for the EBM (electro body music) scene in later years. The lyrics of the song, translated into English as "Every muscle in my body is a machine," are known to have had a unique influence on the Japanese music scene. Paper jacket.
