CHOPIN ORBIT [Limited Release]

A highly anticipated new album by Sumino Hayato, centered around one of the most important composers for him, Frederic Chopin. Each of Sumino's newly composed pieces is paired with a Chopin piece that inspired it, with the album alternating between Chopin's works and Sumino's responses. In addition to his original compositions, the album also features pairings of Chopin with other composers Sumino admires, such as Ades, Godowsky, and Janacek, illustrating how resonance with Chopin's music transcends eras. The work invites listeners to explore both the old and the new worlds freely and immerse themselves in an ever-evolving musical space. The Limited Release Edition, a domestic analog double LP, is released on violet vinyl, inspired by Chopin's fondness for violets. It also includes a large LP-sized booklet and a B2 poster.
