2020年4月に3年振りとなる9度目の日本ツアーが決定。今回は世界中のファンが羨む日本限定のライヴハウスで開催され、東京と大阪で14公演! 78歳になった今も、ライヴを中心に活動を続ける、今のボブ・ディランを間近で見る絶好のチャンスで、ノーベル文学賞受賞後初の日本ツアーとなる。その来日を記念した日本独自となる今作は、1965年の日本コロンビア発売シングルから始まり、CBSソニー、移籍したワーナー・パイオニア時代の発売シングルも含んだ、1985年までの約20年間にアナログで発売されたシングル曲をリリース順に収めた商品企画となった。世界で初めてCDとして商品化されるシングル・ヴァージョンも収められ、ジャケットは来日を祝した日本制作のデザインで、収録のブックレットにはレアな日本コロンビア時代のシングルを始めとして収録の全31曲のジャケット写真を掲載予定。また、Blu-Spec CD2のフォーマットでの発売となる。来日記念盤/日本独自企画盤。
