It might be a controversial opinion, but this concert film i think is one of the best films of 2024. For a Battle of Tokyo fan, it is sublime; but even someone with no other contact with BOT or the LDH company will walk away from this entertained. Its song, its dance, its cinema. Some of the most exciting camerawork of the year appears here, with particular highlights during the Ballistic Boys' and The Rampage's sets. In comparing this to the previous BOT concerts, whereas before everyone performed but seemed to feel conscious of their place in the groups, this time around with the highly active camera every LDH performer acts as if they are fully part of the BOT world and the potential main character. The special Perfomer Battle in the middle of this is another highlight where they definitely save the best for last; the final set by "Team F.dom" is such an amazing display of choreography that i've seen bites of it show up since in music videos, during D.League performances, and even as part of the choreography on the J. Soul Brothers Echoes of Duality tour blu-ray. I've only watched this about 60 times since it came out.
