W Face -outside- [CD+Blu-ray]

Kuu returns after a good while with 2 brand new albums at once. I preordered this album along with it's counterpart "W FACE ~inside~" before avex put the shipping restriction on it and I'm so glad I did. This album is just incredible starting off opening up with "Yas B***h, Yas B***h, Slay!" on its title track and that's just the beginning. It contains so many amazing songs, in fact all of them are. Ultraviolet is a great R&B jam and then there's the semi-dirty Bassline which leaves you singing "Can You feel the bassline? Can you feel the bassline?" and the gorgeous heart-breaking song Heartless which just brought tears to my eyes. Included is also the BSC2016 Tour ONLY single "Shhh!", which is just an awesome party track along with Wicked Girls, and to end the album is the (after a long time waiting) official studio release of the song Cupcake featuring the amazing rap artist AKLO. The included booklet has all the lyrics to each song with one song per page and several awesome & sexy pictures of Kumi in a few black outfits wearing black make up. The slip cover is nice but it's nothing overly special in my personal opinion. The Bluray contains the MVs for both the "outside" & "inside" editions in high crisp quality. They're honestly mostly more simplistic than many of her previous ones. However, they're still all exceptionally well done. My favorites are the ones for Wicked Girls and the GORGEOUS "Promise you" which you'll find the song itself on the "inside" album. The poster I received with my copy was excellent too. I got it plaque mounted and hung it up in my living room wall above the sofa. I highly recommend this album as well as its "inside" counterpart. If you don't live in Japan you can still get the CD Only edition of "outside" and the CD+Bluray edition of "inside" to still get the full content from both albums. Either way, DEFINITELY pick this up!! You won't regret it!!
