Crossing the game and video industries, Izanagi Games - which took on a film-like game with "Death Come True" - joined hands with Nippon Television, one of Japan's leading terrestrial TV stations, and drama production company AX-ON for a new full-length live-action ensemble multi-angle suspense game "AKIBA LOST." A zapping ADV in which you switch between Shinjo and six female characters to close in on the truth of the story. The stage is "Akihabara," the subculture town Japan is proud of. And the game creator protagonist Shinjo gathered six distinctive performers who symbolize that "Akihabara." Winner of the Japan Game Awards 2025 Future Division. [Synopsis] Thirteen years ago, an unsolved case in which six girls vanished in Akihabara - commonly known as "the Akiba Spiriting-Away." At the once-a-year game show, the one who loudly declared the development of a new game "AKIBA LOST" based on that case was Daiki Shinjo (played by Hiromitsu Kitayama), once called a "genius creator." But following that announcement, inexplicable disappearances begin to occur again. Those gathered as the game's performers were: Shinjo's younger sister Aoi Shinjo, who works at a maid cafe; underground idol Kokone Nagato; gourmet writer Moe Kurosu; shrine maiden Chihiro Jimbo; cosplayer Wakana Yusa; and game streamer Yukimi Kurahashi. A diverse cast symbolizing "Akihabara," the subculture town Japan is proud of. But the story they are meant to perform gradually begins to erode reality. The trigger was a threatening phone call that reached Shinjo, and Aoi's disappearance. "Stop developing the game - otherwise the tragedy will repeat." Can Shinjo complete the game? Can he protect his friends? Who is the culprit? And what is the truth of thirteen years ago? The "choice" that decides the ending of this story is placed in your hands.
