Description

[Machine Translation] Denes Szigmondi was a renowned violinist born in Budapest in 1922. This album is a remastered version of his previously released album to commemorate the 95th anniversary of his birth. Zsigmondi himself has a strong attachment to the Bach recordings he made in 1995, when he was in his 70s, and this is a "very important" record that can be called a compilation of his performances. The performance uses a Stradivarius "Ernst" made in 1709, which was lent to him by a benefactor from his Hamburg days. This is a masterful performance with depth in its lustrous tone.
Note: This is an import edition (manufactured outside of Japan).
