This film is anything but ordinary! Produced and directed by German genius Frito Helmer, who also produced "Tuvalu" ('99) and "Gate to Heaven" ('03). This film is inspired by and pays homage to the works of Charles Chaplin and Jack Tati, whom he admires, as well as the "Little Gangsters" series produced by Hal Roach Studios. The six children who play the lead roles were carefully selected by audition, with no trained child actors, but rather six unique and energetic children. --The village of Boraasdorf is a place where average is a virtue, and nothing special or outstanding is done. After escaping from kindergarten, the six mischievous children, together with their friend "Quatch", a red-haired bear, carry out a plan to rescue their beloved grandpa and grandma, who have been put in a home. The elderly people in this village are all special people who have achieved something new in the world. Soon, thanks to the children's hard work, the most wonderful thing in the world will happen to the village.
