「それは、友と交わした遥かな約束の物語」 アクアプラス原作・大ヒットPLAYSTATION R3ゲームソフトが、豪華キャストと実力派スタッフによってTVアニメ化、Blu-ray Disc第1巻。 かつて・・・黄金の時代があり、白銀の時代があり、青銅の時代があった。「青銅の時代」の終焉から1200年。大陸では新たに勃興した「神聖帝国」がその勢力を広げ、 あまねく辺境の地を、かつての「古代王国」の領域までをも呑み込みつつあった。 そんな中、帝国の侵攻を受けた「エリン島」では、ゲール族の少女リアンノンが、魔王アロウン復活の儀式の為、今まさに、生贄にされようとしていた。 様々な要因が重なり儀式は失敗してしまったかのように見えたが、結局、魔王「アロウン」は復活は復活してしまう・・・。 第1話「魔王復活」、第2話「誓約の民」、第3話「旅立ち」、第4話「アヴァロン」を収録。
