イーライ・ロス (脚本・製作)×タイ・ウェスト (監督)が放つ、全編P.O.V.で集団自殺を体感する衝撃のドキュメンタル・ホラー! ――ある日、連絡が途絶えていた妹から奇妙な手紙を受け取ったパトリック。彼は過激な取材スタイルのVICE社のサムとともに、とある共同体へと潜入取材を敢行する。「エデン教区」と名付けられたその場所は皆幸せそうに暮らしており、妹も無事だった。彼女は、ここで豊かな生活ができるのは"ファーザー"のおかげだと話す。しかし、平和に見える＜地上の楽園＞だったが、不可解な空気が見え隠れし始める。彼らは取材を装い、妹を救い出そうとするのだが・・・。
