WOWOWが贈る新感覚時代劇! 盗賊一味の男たちの巧妙な駆け引きと痛快な騙し合いを描く、時代劇盗賊エンターテインメント! ――豪放な性格の弁蔵(松山ケンイチ)とクールな色男・宗次(早乙女太一)は、八王子の飛脚問屋で働いていた。彼らの裏の顔は"赤目"を名乗る盗賊の一味。「脅さず殺さず汚え金を根こそぎいただく」のが赤目の仕事。赤目の頭・辰五郎(國村隼)を敬愛する2人は、夜な夜な仲間とともに悪人の屋敷に忍び込み仕事に精を出していた。だがある日、辰五郎は2人の手を取り、「一味のこと、まかせた」と言って息を引き取ってしまう。しかし、おこん(菜々緒)が預かった遺言状には、辰五郎の弟分・甚三郎(成宮寛貴)に跡目を継がせると記されていた。納得のいかない2人は、赤目一味とたもとを分かち、旅立つ決意をする。そう・・・「でっかいこと」を成し遂げるために! 全5話収録。
