Description

First DVD release from anime series "Akikan!" based on light novel series of the same name. One day, canned melon soda that high school boy named Kakeru unintentionally buys surprisingly turns into a girl. While he is surprised, she announces that she is going to live with him because he has become her owner. Meanwhile, a suspicious looking guy named Otoya comes and introduces himself as an officer of Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry. Otoya asks Kakeru to join a battle between steel can and aruminum can "Akikan Election" for unifying a can's standard. Includes episode 1 and 2.

DVD第1巻。 ある日、高校生・大地カケルが飲もうとしたメロンソーダの缶が突然女の子になっちゃった!? 少女化 (ガーリッシュ)する缶「アキカン」のメロンのオーナーになってしまったカケルは、ひとりぼっちのメロンに居場所を作ろうとメロンを学校に通わせる。しかし、そんなメロンの存在にカケルの幼なじみ・なじみは複雑な気持ち。さらには経済産業省規格統一課担当参事官を名のる男屋がカケルの前に現れ、スチール缶とアルミ缶、異なる缶の規格を統一するために開かれる戦い「アキカン・エレクト」への参戦を求める。スチール缶であるメロンはアルミ缶を嫌っていて、さらには「アキカン・エレクト」によって缶の扱いが改善されるという男屋の言葉にメロンは戦闘意欲充填満タン! 戦いたくないカケルは参戦を拒否するが、学校に新たな「アキカン」が現れて・・・!? 第1話「カンじる!? ファーストキス」、第2話「おべんきょうの時カン」を収録。 特装版には、原作イラスト・鈴平ひろ描き下ろしイラスト使用ジャンボクッションカバー付き。
