timelesz名義初となる通算27枚目のシングル「because」は、菊池風磨が主演を務めるテレビ朝日系オシドラサタデー『私たちが恋する理由』の主題歌。新たな恋の一歩を踏み出すことに臆病なドラマの登場人物達の心情に寄り添った世界観を綴ると共に、ファンの皆さんをはじめ、応援してくださる方々への感謝、想いも込めた歌詞が切なくも優しいメロディに乗ったラブソング。また、今回の作品はメンバー全員でアイデアを出し合って制作。3人で話し合った内容を受け菊池風磨が作詞、松島聡が振り付け考案、佐藤勝利がMusic Video制作にそれぞれ関わり、これまで以上に気持ちを込めて作り上げた3人体制最初で最後のシングル。大きな一歩を踏み出したtimeleszの決意、その「理由」が綴られた「because」にご期待ください! カップリングには全形態共通の楽曲に加え、通常盤のみの楽曲を2曲収録。20P歌詞ブックレット、ポラロイド風トレカ 自撮り ver.
