Description
[Machine Translation] The sixth album on the OEHMS label by the famous baritone Roman Treichel is a collection of songs by Richard Strauss and Wagner. The half of the album, however, is a rather challenging one, consisting of the "Four Last Songs" and the "Wesendonck Lieder," both of which are basically "for women's voices. Of course, many male singers have explored this "flower garden" and created a fragrant bouquet, but here Treichel sings these songs in a uniquely beautiful way, with a cool sound and warmth of expression. Strauss's 12 songs, including the well-known "Dedication" and "Tomorrow Morning," as well as "Homecoming," the title of the album, are sung with straightforwardness, tenderness, and delicacy. [Performed by Roman Trakel (baritone) and Oliver Paul (piano)
