Description

[Machine Translation] Since its first music director, Fritz Busch, the Glyndebourne Festival has left its mark on the history of Mozart's operas. This box includes "The Marriage of Figaro" and "Abduction from the Hermitage" by Robin Tiziati, who was born in London in 1983 and became the 7th Music Director of the Festival in 2014, as well as "Cosi fan tutte" conducted by the Hungarian master Ivan Fischer. The program will also include the Hungarian master Ivan Fischer conducting Cosi fan tutte. Ticciati conducts the Age of Intimacy Orchestra on period instruments, and his gushing brilliance and musicality can be fully appreciated in "The Marriage of Figaro" and "The Abduction from the Huntress". In "Cosi fan tutte", I. Fischer skillfully led the talented singers such as Persson, Pissaroni and Rettipou under the very orthodox direction of Heitner.
