This bristle is the same soft as Chikuhodo FO series, but I feel Koyudo is more silky than Chikuhodo FO series. This large powder brush is less dense than I expect. For me, I like denser brush for setting powder. But I can't deny that it's super comfortable to apply this brush on my face.
