Since Pocket Monsters is an role-playing style game it can take a lot of time to complete. I am the kind of player that likes to complete the story, find all of the items, and fill the Pokemon Picture Book, and so on. I do not want leave any stones unturned. This book has a lot of information. The information is divided into smaller sections. Each section explains a different feature of the game. There are 10 sections that explain the game's features, or what you can do in the game. The sections after that are the story and post-story. The story-clear section gives color code progress charts, charts on what pokemon can be found and how frequently they appear, what items to find on ground, how many things are hidden, where the trainers are, and which ones will do a rematch. This is followed by sections with information about Super Kimitsukichi, Pokemon Contests, and trainer battles/data. There even sections explaining the Pokemon Global Link and Pokemon Bank. There is no Pokemon Zukan(picture book), or Pokedex, in this book. If you are looking for a Pokemon Zukan you will want to buy the National Pokemon Zukan. It is a two book set that is also being sold on CDJapan. Some special sections of the book will be a treat for fans of the game series. There is an section of the book called Making. This section is about the development of the game. There is an interview with the producer, Masuda Junichi, and the director, Oomori Shigerushi, as well as concept art, and 3D game models of all of the Pokemon trainers of the Hooen region. In the Super Himitsukichi section of this book there are three QR codes as a bonus. Some information that I wish had more revealing was how to use mega-evolution in Pokemon contests and more information about the Trainer Eye feature for the Pokemon Maruchinabi. The book is of good quality. The paper is good quality too. The book is written in the Japanese language, of course. For some information you might be looking for you may not be able to rely on pictures. I recommend you start learning the Japanese language if you can't read it. There a little more than 831 pages in total so it is a thick book. It is 8.3125 inches tall by about 5.8125 inches wide by about 1.75 inches deep. To me this book is useful and helpful. I will continue to use it at times while I am playing Omega Ruby, and, later, Alpha Sapphire.
